Midi composer: Don Carroll

Oh when I roll doubles after landing on Marvin Gardens
My little doggy skips Go to Jail but what waits me ‘round the bend?
Park Place and Boardwalk. Pass go and get a hundred or two
But instead I land just short and wind up on a space that’s blue

(Land on the Boardwalk) Don’t rub it in my face
(Land on the Boardwalk) You also own Park Place
(Land on the Boardwalk) Somehow the money I found
(Land on the Boardwalk) Then land there next time around
Land on the boardwalk (boardwalk)

You gloat as I count my money and I’m short some dough
I’ll have to mortgage St. James Place, Baltic Avenue and Reading Railroad
Land on the Boardwalk, and pay the fee
And double the rent if you’ve got a monopoly

(Land on the Boardwalk) Every time I go round the board
(Land on the Boardwalk) Rent is more than I can afford
(Land on the Boardwalk) Oh this game is sure hard
(Land on the Boardwalk) Can I trade get out of jail free card?
Land on the boardwalk (boardwalk)

Ooooh, land on the Boardwalk and pay some more, yeah
Way more than I get from my two purples and my houses on Ventnor

(Land on the Boardwalk) I’m not doing so well.
(Land on the Boardwalk) When did you place that hotel?
(Land on the Boardwalk) You win I’m in bankruptcy
(Land on the Boardwalk) I suck at Monopoly
I land on boardwalk (boardwalk)
