I’m packed and I’m
holding
Bits of oats that’re toasted and golden and
so yummy. Marbits in your tummy
Nutrious. Magically delicious
Kids come round and they chase after me
As they chase they smile They’re full of laughter
They are always after
Me charms so lucky
Named after me
Leprechaun ye see
With magic powers but not enough to hide me
And I speak with a brogue. It’s a battle of wills
Hungry kids and a mascot from General Mills
And I add another marshmallow shape to the bowl
It only makes them want it more, I say
I want something else to get me through this
Lucky-charmed kind of life.
I want something else
So delicious magically!
With pots of gold, hourglass
Shooting starts and green hats
And rainbows want to get back to
What I had first
Before I flew in a red balloon
The time of pink hearts
And of course the yellow moon
And by far
|
We can’t forget the orange star
And clovers of green to rot your molar
And we had more, with the diamonds so blue
And purple horseshoe
And purple horseshoe
How do we get back before
Ye needed milk to unlock this door?
Which new shape will come out on top
The chase never stops
I want something else to get me through this
Lucky charmed kind of life
I want something else
So delicious magically!
I recall watching TV so much fun
I’d get a tingle
When that jingle
Meant that Lucky was on the run
As a kid found the bland bits. Ate each one.
Marshmallows by the spoonful when I was done
And it tasted all right.
All right. Now I don’t want nothing else
Eat Lucky Charms for life
Nobody can catch a leprechaun
But you can catch Lucky Charms!
